England's new ODI team leaving 6 people from the World Cup.

 The ECB announced the squads for next month's tour of the West Indies in a press release on Sunday. Only six cricketers including captain Jos Buttler have retained their place.

The remaining five in the World Cup squad for the Caribbean tour are Harry Brook, Sam Curran, Liam Livingstone, Gus Atkinson, Brydon Curse. Among them, except Livingstone, the rest did not get a chance to play regular matches in the World Cup.

Moeen Ali, who served as vice-captain in the World Cup, has been left out of the ODI squad. However, the off-spinning all-rounder has retained his place in the T20 team. Reece Topley, Chris Woakes, Adil Rashid who are part of the World Cup team are also in the T20 series team.

Ben Stokes, who retired from playing in the World Cup, is now suffering from some kind of uncertainty. He said he decided to play ODI career after knee surgery. The star all-rounder is currently thinking about the Test team.

Oli Pope, Josh Tong and John Turner, who are waiting for their debut, got an ODI opportunity against the West Indies. The two Test team openers Ben Duckett and Jack Crowley have also been taken in ODIs. Sam Hayne has not been included in the team despite a great debut against Ireland last September.

Two pacers Tong and Turner have also been kept in T20. Others in both squads are Buttler, Livingstone, Curran, Atkinson, Brook and Rehan Ahmed. Tymal Mills was brought back into the team last game in July last year.

The ODI series will begin in Antigua on December 3. The two teams will go to Barbados to play the second match on December 6 at the same ground. There will be third ODI on 9th.

Later, the first T20 of the five-match series will be held in Barbados on December 12. The next two matches in Grenada are on the 14th and 16th. The last two matches in Trinidad will be played on December 19 and 21.
